New AFI

So, I just saw the video for Miss Murder, the new song from AFI (A Fire Inside) who are one of my favorite bands. I am now depressed. This song absolutely SUCKED! Firstly, Davey Havoc's signature balls-in-clamp voice is no where to be found! Instead, there is the same whiney emo voice that every other band has. Secondly, what the fuck is with the Dani Filth-esque screaming at the end of the song? Does Davey think he can get more hXc cred if he screams like the faggot lead singer of Cradle of Filth? I think not! AFI is a punk band, NOT screamo band! It really depresses me that such a fantastic group could totally sell out. I'm going to go cry and touch myself in a dark corner... I feel so vulnerable... Hold me?

Weirdness...

So, one of my high school friends is getting married. Spooky. Marriage, to me, seems so far in my future, that I can't really imagine anyone else doing it. Yarr. I'm getting old.

In Sun-Land

Shalom, blogfriends. I am in Hawaii and I luuuurve it. I'm currently drinking POG juice, (papaya, orange, guava) and eating sweet bread. YUM. I've been to the North Shore and ate fish tacos, shopped the Ala Moana mall, hit up a bunch of cool beaches, and ate homemade icecream. Tomorrow, we (Michelle, Emily, Caroline, and I) , are going to Haunama Bay to snorkle with fishies and then to the Bishop Museum to see the gigungous whale skeleton. Then, we are going to a local show at a bar! Scandalous! Well, I must get going back to my awesome vacation. Tah beans!
